BVM Scuff Boards – 20pk
Much of the sanding work required to build our models today involves the proper “scuffing” of the wood and plastic parts in preparation for gluing.
These #80 grit double sided, flexible boards are perfect for the job of giving the parts “tooth” for the glue to grab onto.
Critical tasks such as installation of laser cut formers into a fiberglass fuselage are a great application for the Scuff Boards. They are just flexible enough to attack the molded fiberglass and stiff enough to clean off burned edges of the laser cut ply parts. You can trim the ends with shears to adapt to each task.
Once you have some Scuff Boards on your workbench, you will find many other uses for these very handy and inexpensive tools.
