8Wx2 Flashlight, 11mm, SHORT, T-Fuse – GREEN. Powerful flashlight in x2 Technology – doubled luminous power but the same waste heat! The profile light of the 11mm series is slim outside and fit optically also onto smaller models. Because of the x2-Technology, the light has an enormous luminous power and thus it’s an eye-catcher even for bigger models. In delivery state, the profiled polycarbonate cap is simply attached. It can be varnished separately. It’s highly transparent and unbreakable. If desired, you can recess the luminaire up to 4mm or grind down the cap, thus achieving an even smaller construction. The cap must be glued after the final assembly. Additional cooling surfaces have been waived in order to enable an extremely flat and compact assembly, especially on fuselages or wingtips. Hence, this luminaire is exclusively suitable for flash mode or short blink operation. In order to ensure operational reliability of luminaire and model, an overtemperature protection is on the underside of the item. If the luminaire is operated for too long and thus becoming too hot, this button switches off the light. In order to increase the life span, do not use this function permanently!. The luminaire is ready to use for operation with 2S LiPo (ca. 8V). With 3S (12V), the enclosed resistor has to be used. Alternatively you can use a 4W-3S adaption cable. Delivery: ready to use with 1m silicon cable and series resistor for 2S, resisitor for 3S enclosed . With the X2 technique high power LEDs are operated in a “cluster”. These achieve double the light output for the same heat or the same light output at half heat dissipation. Yet our X2 lights are still fully compatible with all our other lamps. If X2 lights, such as spotlights, are supplied with separate cables, these cables must be used in the delivered wiring! X2 lights are reacting more strongly on a weakening battery. . The reference power is a comparison value between our offered lights. It normally refers to an operating voltage of 12V/3S Lipo and is dependent on bulbs, operating mode and technology. . Pay always attention to the operating temperature, we do not assume any warranty in case of overheating. . Note: The LED lights are extremely bright! Never look directly into a LED!.
